March 21st, 2019 marked the final flight of the Belgian Air Force Sea King Mk48 (RS05, cnWA835), after 43 years loyal service. The fleet of 5 accumulated more than 60000 flight hours, saved 1757 lives during 3309 interventions…
On his final flight over the villages of the Belgian Coast, we were lucky to see RS05 for the last time, delivering a flag to the majors of Wenduine and Koksijde, and performing beach landings for the very last time.
