20140515_JAWTEX_MicroSpottersday_Uwe

Our good phriend - Uwe Weber - organised a "Micro Spottersday" to celebrate his retirement from the German Luftwaffe with all his phriends and so we were all invited to Wittmund Air Base on May 15th, 2014. The Turkish Air Force was participating with 5 F-16's (Three C's and two D's) in exercise JAWTEX (which was mainly being held at Jagel Air Base) and was stationed at Wittmund Air Base for the duration of the exercise. The German Eurofighters were also participating in the JAWTEX exercise from Wittmund. We arrived at Wittmund on May 14th in the afternoon, just in time to witness some QRA activity and the arrivals of the afternoon wave. During the Micro Spottersday, we had a wonderfull time with the many aviation-phriends and lots of beautiful aviation activity. Thanks to Uwe for this unforgetable event!! On the way home, we passed by at Jever Air Base and took some pictures of the "dump" with some scrapped hulls...
