This aircraft, a Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchon, was registered C.4K-134 with the Spanish Air Force, but is modified to look like a Bf-109G-6/R6 (12, cn 194) and is now preserved by JG71 "Richthofen" at Wittmundshafen.
This RF-104G (24+85, cn 683-8235), preserved by JG71 at Wittmundshafen, was my favorite photographer at the "celebration of 50 years Phantom II / 35 years of Phantom II in Germany".

Close-up of a German Air Force F-4F Phantom II (37+11, cn 4373) - with the fly-out c/s (the winged horse of Westphalia) of Hopsten Air Base - which was preserved at Wittmundhafen AFB.
This German Air Force F-4F Phantom II (37+11, cn 4373) - with the fly-out c/s of Hopsten Air Base - is now preserved at Wittmundhafen AFB. The special badge of the white winged horse is just visible on the bottom of the aircraft (digging a hole in the ground to shoot from a lower angle was not allowed ;-)...).
Spooky atmosphere, isn't it? Just seconds before the storm broke out, a few rays of sun illuminated this F-4F Phantom II, preserved at a crossroads near the town of Wittmund, close to Wittmundshafen AFB.
"Cold as ice" and with a little bit of snow on its canopy and horizontal stabilizers. Unfortunately, this was the only German Air Force F-4F Phantom II (38+14, cn4646) that I saw during this winterday at Wittmund.
