Real rescue - by a Swiss Air Force Alouette III (V-282, cn 158/1104) - of an unlucky hiker on the slopes of Axalp, just after the 2005 air show (so, for the people in the neighborhood, this was a very nice extra...).

The Patrouille Swiss (J-3084, cn L1084/1187) in action above Axalp - near Meiringen AFB - during the 2005 show, against a marvelous background.
Aerial view on Meiringen AFB (picture taken from nearby "Rothorn" mountain at 2350m altitude) with beautiful autumn colors. You can clearly understand why they called this mountain (the one in the sun) "Rothorn" (some of the trees have a wonderfull brown-red color, this time of the year)! On the runway are three F-5E's (two from Patrouille Swiss and one in standard grey paint) having just started their take-off roll. The two taxiways leading to the famous shelters (i.e. caverns in the mountain) are also visible.
